Protection and care of your Latex, Rubber or Plastic Panty investment
Congratulations in your decision to purchase the most expensive of undergarments. Since you have made an important decision on purchasing panty’s made from these materials, you should make an extra bit of effort to make them last and look good. Because you have paid much more for these materials you should note extra care is going to be needed to keep them in good order.
Before we begin, please make special note of this: DO NOT EVER WASH PLASTIC or RUBBER PANTS WITH ANY OF YOUR OTHER CLOTHES. ALWAYS HAND WASH SEPARATELY AND NEVER MIX COLORS WHEN WASHING.
The following is a list of guidelines to follow. While it may not be necessary to follow each and every one of them verbatim, this gives you an idea of what to do for the optimum performance of your garment. Now, since you are determined to make your purchase last as long as you can consider this: First, before you pull on the panty, powder your legs, hips and abdomen with un-scented baby powder or corn starch. Never use one that has scent or oils. Now, there is a special way in which to pull the panty up your hips. You need to make sure your hands are clean and dry and make sure you are wearing latex gloves if you have long finger nails. Regardless, a good choice is to powder your hands with an un-scented powder (since most baby powder come with oils for added scent). When pulling them up your hips twist your hips to one side and use BOTH hands when gently pulling the panty up your hips. While running your hands down the inside of the waist band, place all your fingers under the leg band and gently pull up just a few inches. Now do the same with the other side. Never use your finger or fingers or thumbs alone. Always use your hands or all your fingers when doing this. Keep using this method until you have gotten the rubber or plastic panty up over your abdomen. Now use this same method in adjusting the waist band. Once you have pulled them all the way up, you should cup your fingers under the leg band of each leg and pull out on the leg bands until a proper fit is acquired.
When taking off this garment, first pull the leg bands in a similar manner as above and THEN use the same method on the waist band. The best idea is to place both palms of your hands against your upper thigh and gently push the latex, rubber or plastic AWAY from your body. This method avoids placing added stress on the material and affords you the ability to move your hips in such a way as to move WITH the panty and not against it.
Washing
For the very best care of your garments, NEVER use soaps or detergents. Period! But if you feel you must, do so with great care. ALWAYS use plain lukewarm water on your initial washing followed by cold tap water for rinsing. ALWAYS hand-wash each garment separately and stay with the garment until it is completely padded down and dry. Here’s what we mean by that: As soon as you have finished rinsing, get a large towel and pat dry the garment turning it inside out and back three to five times.
Hanging to Dry
It is only now that you should hang the garment. The idea is to finish the garment by allowing it to air dry in a dark closeted space. You can attain this by using a coat hanger, but be careful. Use the padded coat hanger inside the garment, but do not use the hanger the regular way from side to side inside the garment. Rather use it from the middle of the front of the garment to the middle of the back of the panty. And, always use it by turning the panty inside out and not by placing the hanger on the inside of the garment. This allows the inside of the garment to dry first.
NEVER do the Following
Never use ointments that contain petroleum or by-products of same. Never use anything except K-Y Jelly by Johnson & Johnson when wearing them or having sex. Never place garment in a box or bag for safe keeping. Never put garment away unless it is on a hanger. Never put garment away unless it has dried at least 24 hours; 12 hours per side. Never allow both sides of garment to touch itself or any other garment. Never allow sunlight to touch the garment.
After Panty has properly dried
It’s best to wait until you wish to wear the panty to powder it, but if you must powder it now, here is the way to do it. Always powder the panty with un-scented powder or corn starch. Only then if you must, can you place garment in a box. However, even now it is best, after powdering, to place garment in an air tight glass jar or zip lock plastic bag. Please note that Rubber or latex should be stored in refrigerated space at 42 degrees Fahrenheit, therefore the panty inside a zip-lock bag is best for this. Now and only now, the above procedure can be accomplished without fear of destroying your investment.
